Cooking is more than a family passion

I was raised on three homecooked meals a day, with the kitchen being the center of family life.

Cooking, art and creativity culminated in a food grade vacuum packed family cookbook.

I wanted to share my love for cooking with friends and family, so I approached a printing house for the private publication of 70 books; making the book available world-wide for the price of production was no small feat, requiring careful planning and calculation. Artistic components of the packaging required additional coordination with a local printer.

Spreading the word

I cooked and photographed several of the recipes included in the book and developed a seven-day social media advertising strategy.

THE AFTERMATH 

Creating nice packaging means that some people do not want to open it… That made me happy, but also got me thinking! Here is an AR filter to digitally break the seal and have a look at the inside of the book!
