The Most Efficient Hobby
Coming from a line of butchers, I grew up with the kitchen at the center of family life and started cooking early on. Today, there’s not much I enjoy more than spending hours there.
Don’t ask me for a recipe—I prefer freestyle cooking, the kind where a random fridge lineup somehow turns into dinner. I try to visit the market twice a week and, since 2025, grow some of my own veggies in my garden. I like getting nerdy about cutting techniques and knife sharpening, but baking isn’t really my thing…. there are just too many rules.
